Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
    3. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    4. Place squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet.
    5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until tender.
    6. Use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands.
    7. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
    8. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
    9. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
